At Snail AI, we believe trust is the foundation of every AI engagement. These principles govern how we handle your data when building and operating AI systems for your business.
You retain full ownership of all business data you provide to us. We never claim ownership, sell, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
We do not use your business data to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models for the benefit of other clients or the general public. Your data is used exclusively to deliver services to you.
Where commercially feasible, your data is stored and processed on cloud infrastructure within Australia. Where international processing is required (e.g., by global AI API providers), we ensure equivalent privacy protections through contractual safeguards.
All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is encrypted on supported platforms. Access to your data is restricted to authorised Snail AI personnel on a strict need-to-know basis.
We will inform you of which AI services process your data, for what purpose, and where. If we change data processors or processing locations, we will notify you in advance.
We collect and process only the minimum data necessary to deliver the agreed services. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or returned to you upon request.
AI systems we deliver include human review checkpoints. Critical decisions (financial, legal, compliance-related) always require human validation before execution.
We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
